Children & Museum
In addition to the activities accessible directly from the Borgo (here), there are, at a short distance from Gallano, many opportunities for entertainment and sports in close contact with nature.
Two kilometers from the village, in Pieve Torina, it is possible to visit the Museum of Our Land, within a fifteenth century convent, are presented environments and tools of local rural tradition.
In twenty minute by car you can reach Fiastra Lake at which the association "Gaia Adventure Park" organizes various sporting activities and excursions for children and teenagers.
About thirty minutes from the village, near Matelica, you reach the "Dinosaur Park" with a museum of fossils. A forty-five minutes from the village, near Genga, you'll find the wonderful "Frasassi Caves" the largest and most beautiful natural caves of Europe, also suitable for families with children, you can visit with a guide.
Also at about forty-five minutes from the Borgo, along the super scenic highway "SP209 Val Nerina" you reach the "Rafting and Kayak River Horn Center" and "Sibillini Wilderness".
Together with the instructors we descend the Horn for about 7 km long in total safety even from inexperienced.

In nearby Camerino (15 minutes from the village) you can visit the Museum of Natural Sciences and the magnificent Botanical Garden.

For lovers of water playgrounds, in the vicinity of Cingoli about an hour from the village, you can have fun at the two water parks "Eldorado" and "Green Blue". For those who love animals, in locations Falconara (one hour and twenty from the Borgo), you can visit the Zoo Park populated by different species of animals, especially feline, threatened with extinction and included in C.I.T.E.S.

Inaugurated in 2004, the "Museum of the Balì" is an interactive science museum, It 'housed in a beautiful eighteenth-century villa just 15 km from Fano (about an hour and forty minutes from the village). The museum give the possibility to approach, in a fun and stimulating way, with the hidden science behind the daily life through interactive stations ranging from perception to physics and mathematics. A planetarium and observatory, mark the astronomical footprint of the museum. Taking a car trip a little more long (about two hours by car from the Borgo) you can reach two of the most beautiful parks of fun for kids of central Italy. Fiabilandia has tickled the fancy of at least two generations (born in 1965) and is experiencing a phase of renewal that by placing him on a very high level, especially for entertainment for children. Not surprisingly won the PARKSMANIA AWARDS 2000 as the best italian park for families.
